Ferrari 312T3 Formula 1 RC Car

Hi, I love the look of vintage Formula 1 cars. Below is a 1/10 scale Ferrari 312T3 on a Tamiya F103 15th Anniversary F1 r/c car chassis. 

Chrome wheels and spoilers of the old F1 era. Performance plus looks.

I decided to make the F1 driver figure and cockpit more realistic. I made a full bodied driver figure using paper mache. Seatbelt is simply black masking tape.

Overview. Below is a fully functional radio control car. Powered by a 540 electric motor, Lipo battery and LRP Quantum esc.

Also added rear exhausts and driveshafts to add to the realism. Rubber tires make these remote controlled cars look very realistic.

Back to the driver's cockpit. The steering wheel is fabricated from epoxy clay. A Ferrari sticker finishes off the steering wheel.

The body is from Tamiya and made of ABS plastic. For racing, I use the lexan version of this beautiful F1 body.
