2004 Mazda RX8 Performance Review and PicturesHere is the performance battle between a real 2004 Mazda RX8 versus the 1/10 nitro powered remote control car from HPI with a Mazda RX8 Speed body kit. Can the 238 bhp rotary engine 2004 RX8 sports car beat the 1.2 hp 4WD remote controlled RX8 with a Mazda Speed body kit? Here is a side-by-side comparison, specs, pictures, and review of the 2004 Mazda RX8. Plus links to where you can buy an RX8 for sale online.
Mazda RX8 For SaleSo far I have not been able to find a ready-to-run Mazda RX8 remote control car. But there are a couple of beautiful Mazda RX8 body kits from HPI Racing (190mm and 200mm wide bodies). You can buy the body kit then put it on the 1/10 HPI RS4 EV0 series remote control car.
The 1/10 HPI RS4 EV0 is powered by a 2-stroke engine producing 1.2 horsepower. With a top speed of 70+ kph (actual speed) this is more than just a toy. And not just performance, HPI's scale Mazda RX8 body kit is simply awesome (see pictures above). And in a race from 0-60 kph the remote control model would probably beat the real RX8. Here is a recommended R/C hobby shop where you can buy the nitro powered 1/10 HPI RS4 EV0 rc car and the separate RX8 body kit for sale online.
