Mini 4wd R/C Cars

These are slightly smaller than 1/10 scale. Could be called true 1/10 scale or even 1/12 scale. In any case I like these cars because they are small and cute. Around 160mm wide versus the typical 190mm wide touring cars.

HPI Mini RS4

I have been running this kit for 13 years. Not a single broken part. Very fast and I love the chassis design. Right now I am putting LIPO battery and a 4.5T brushless motor. Will see how it goes soon.

The body is a 1/12 scale BMW. Rims and tires are from Tamiya M-Chassis. Fiberglass chassis, 4wd, belt drive transmission and 4 oil filled shock absorbers.

HPI Cup Racer Mini 4wd

Here is the latest mini 4wd from HPI and a successor to RS4 Mini. The HPI Cup Racer is shaft driven. FRP chassis, rear ball diff, front gear diff, oil filled shock absorbers, universal dogbones and rubber tires.

What's excellent are the old school classic r/c bodies such as the Toyota Levin, Datsun 240Z, Datsun 510 and Porsche Carrera RSR.

ABC Hobby 1/10 Genetic Mini Chassis

Another great mini 4wd is the ABC Hobby Genetic. Shaft drive, 4wd, ball diff. Looks very well designed.

And even better are the popular mini rc bodies such as the Honda CR-X, Mazda Roadster, Datsun 1200 Coupe, Datsun 510 BRE Edition, Datsun Fairlady 240Z, Nissan Fairlady Z, Toyota Celica 1600GT and Toyota TE27 Corolla Levin.
