SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Hello,

Last Sunday I was having fun with my Tamiya rc cars with my
wife and 3 year old baby girl Porsha. It was a very nice morning,
and the race track was conveniently located at the roof deck of
a parking lot in the mall district. You can play then shop at the
same time.

Well the story is about safety with regards to playing with rc cars.
My wife was playing with a Tamiya Formula 1 running a stock
motor, with a speed of around 25 mph. Unfortunately, the car
hit her toe, which caused a lot of bleeding. We went to the
hospital emergency room, fortunately no stitches were needed
but she did have to take a tetanous shot, just in case.

So please, just keep in mind that rc cars can be dangerous,
especially to young kids. If a small 25 mph electric rc car can land
you in the emergency room, what more a 40+ mph nitro monster
truck or touring car? So please take care when playing, especially
in parking lots or areas that do not have barriers between the car
and people watching.
