Effects of Toe-In and Toe-Out

Question: Hi, I'm new to nitro cars, having hacked around with an electric car for some time. I'm stumped as to how to best set up the steering angles for my nitro car. I'd appreciate tips from the experts on how this is best achieved.

Answer: Hi Rick, Steering angles, you mean toe in and toe out? Toe in will make it more stable in a straight line, toe out give more steering when entering corners. But the best setting will depend on your car model. Suggest you look at the fast guys, and check what settings they are using for your track. - Joel
