8 Nov 2009 - This is one
of my most memorable rc events. Race was done inside the Mall of Asia
and watched by thousands of people throughout the day. It was a family
affair, I joined in the 4wd buggy class while my 8 year old daughter
Porsha and wife Ges joined in the rc rally class.

Electric
Powered Monster Trucks
These are big and
powerful electric powered rc monster trucks. My favourite is the ATV
with driver and matching cape.

Short Course RC Trucks
The ever popular short
course rc trucks due to realism and door to door wheel banging racing.
Plus one of the cheapest class to race in, perfect for beginners.

As for me it was a fun
but hectic day, racing in the 4wd class and preparing the rally cars
for my wife and daughter. I also broke a drivecup in qualifying and had
to race in the triple A-mains with only 3 wheel drive. Lucky to take
second place.

And to top it off, after
the electric class racing, they started to race 1/8 scale nitro rc
buggies inside the mall! This is the first time in my 32 years in the
hobby to see nitro
rc cars racing inside a mall.
