For over 30 years I've been playing and racing rc cars. And I keep on doing it because it's exciting to race. But more importantly it's visiting different places and making new friends.

Let me show you what I mean. Below are some fun racing events that I've had the pleasure of joining. Hope these entice you to start racing as well.

Tamiya Asia Cup 2011 TAC Finals (Singapore)

Over 100 drivers from 8 Asia countries battled it out in the 3 day rc car racing event to determine champions in the Jr. Stock, Super Stock, Mini, FF03, F104 and GT classes. Photos and video of the Tamiya Asia Cup 2011 Finals.

Tamiya Asia Cup TAC 2011

The TAC 2011 Philippine Qualifying Championship was a 14 race series spanning 8 months. Crowned are the 2011 champions who will fly to Singapore to battle in the TAC 2011 Regionals.

Tamiya TAC 2011 - Baguio Event

Held in Baguio Country Club, the Tamiya R/C Baguio race highlight were the many kids who joined the race.

2010 Tamiya Asia Cup

Photos and videos of the 13th Tamiya Asia Cup held in Manila, Philippines. Drivers from 7 countries battled in the Jr. Stock, SuperStock, Mini, F1 and GT class for the opportunity to represent Asia in the 2010 Tamiya World Championships.

Tamiya Mini Class Racing in Meralco

20 March 2010 - We were invited to a Tamiya M-chassis racing event to be held in the Meralco Employees day celebration. R/C car racing was one of the featured events for the day and exposed radio control car racing to thousands of people and most importantly to hundreds of kids.

Nitro RC Racing in JP Raceway

14 March 2010 - Nothing beats the thrill of racing on-road nitro rc cars. Speed, realism and racing strategy makes this one of my favorite racing class. Vroom vroom!

Tamiya R/C Car Race in SM Megamall

13 March 2010 - The first ever Tamiya radio control car race inside SM Megamall attracted a lot of racers and spectators. So exciting to race in front of hundreds of people.

4th Luzon Island R/C Championship

7 March 2010 - Held every 3 years, the 4th Luzon Island RC championship was in Pacific Mall, NE. Up for grabs was Concours, EP Stock Silvercan, EP Stock Mini, EP Superstock and GP Touring.

Racing RC Cars in Mall of Asia

8 November 2009 - One of my most memorable rc cars race. Not only because it was held in a Mall, but also because my wife and daughter joined the race. RC racing, spending time with family and lot's of spectators made this a very fun day. Classes were electric rally cars, buggies and monster trucks.

Tamiya Asia Cup 2009

20 September 2009 -  The TAC 2009 Race was very competitive with the best racers from Thailand, China, Singapore, Lebanon, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Korea vying to be the best in Asia. I had a chance to meet my relatives who lived in Bangkok, they even watched me race :)
