How to read the comparison chart. Power is either electric, nitro or gas. Kit needs assembly and other items such as radio controller. RTR means ready to run. Usually assembled and comes with most items needed to get running.

Drive is either four wheel drive (4WD) or rear wheel drive (Rwd). Price is estimated sale price in USD. Speed is estimated as marketed by the companies. Some of the faster speeds of electric rc trucks can only be attained with higher voltage batteries and larger pinion gears.

I would buy the 1/8 HPI Savage Flux HP (brushless) and the 1/10 T-Maxx 3.3 nitro rc monster trucks.

Short Course RC Trucks for Sale

I would buy a 4 wheel drive (4WD) short course rc truck because it is easier to drive and much faster than a 2 wheel drive (Rwd). For electric, I would buy the 1/10 Losi TEN-SCTE. For nitro, the 1/8 Traxxas Slayer 3.3. And for gasoline powered, the 1/5 HPI Baja 5SC SS.

So where to buy rc trucks for sale? 

Here are the steps:

1. Select a company or model you want. If still undecided, browse thru the RCCarTips website for more information.
2. Once you know what rc truck to buy, visit the manufacturers website. There's usually a "find a dealer" section in their website. That should give you the closest rc hobby shop in your country or state.
3. If you want to shop online, try the online rc store. Listed are some shops to get you started.
4. If you are looking for cheap second hand rc trucks, try popular forums in your country. For example, in the USA, popular is RCTech.net and RCUniverse.com. There you will find for sale threads and possibly great bargains.
