1/10 Short Course Buggies

While reading Xtreme RC Cars magazine, I saw a big full page ad by Team Losi titled "The next level in short course performance." To quote:

Short Course Buggies - Losi "Take home a powerful buggy based off the reputable XXX platform. The 1/10-scale XXX-SCBs come ready-to-run with detailed components from bumper to bumper, including driver figures and roll cages, window nets, nerf bars, Losi radio systems with Spektrum 2.4GHz DSM technology and 2S LiPo-compatible ESCs and aluminum oil-filled shocks."

This got me curious so I visited www.losi.com and took a look. It looked like a short course r/c truck with a very narrow chassis. With the body, looks like an open-wheel SCT. I'm still not excited, so I took a look at the Team Losi XXX-SCB 2wd rtr short course buggies video on youtube.

I'm a fan of open wheel racing. And after watching the video, I can see there will be hobbyists who would love the looks of short course buggies.

So far the only other company I've seen with a similar short course rc buggy is HPI Racing with their Apache C1 flux. But this is 1/8 scale and 4wd. They look the same though.
