Project D Toyota Trueno Body
Here are photos of a true 1/10 scale Toyota Trueno body replicating the AE86 Project D car in the manga Initial D. Part I: 1/10 Toyota Trueno AE86 Car Body This is the most realistic body I've seen, better than those made by HPI and ABC Hobbies. This one is from Jada Import Racer.
The Toyota Trueno AE86 body is mounted on a Tamiya M04 chassis modified to the exact wheelbase of the body.
And here is a rear view of the Toyota Trueno body...
The original body came in red, so there was a lot of sanding and painting done. The front, rear and side spoilers were cut to realism. Epoxy was used to finish the wheel wells. Tamiya TS white and black paint were used to replicate the Panda Trueno paint scheme.
